2 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup onion chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
butter or margarine softened
16 ozs sour cream
2 tomatoes diced
1 lg green pepper diced
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 lg loaf French bread
Brown beef & onion in skillet. Drain; add seasonings. Slice bread in half lengthwise, spread both halves with butter or margarine, and place on large baking sheet. Add sour cream to cooked meat, and spoon onto bread halves. Sprinkle with tomatoes, peppers and cheese. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
